Polish comedy festivals and cabaret returns announced

The SZPAK comedy festival is celebrating its 20th anniversary in Szczecin, beginning October 22 at the Słowianin Cultural Center. Artistic director Damian Usewicz noted that this year’s edition will feature a mix of genres, including stand-up, cabaret, and improvisation, with approximately 30 interdisciplinary artists participating.

In Zielona Góra, the satirical-political group Kabaret PAKA is returning to the Kawon club on October 15. Led by Krzysztof Langer, the group—which includes Krzysztof Rogacewicz, Marta Sowińska, and Mateusz Wójcik—will perform a new original program. This performance marks a significant return to the city where the group's history and the local cabaret scene originally flourished in the 1980s.
