Global and regional companies report diverse financial results
Various companies have reported diverse financial results for the first half of 2026 and fiscal periods.
Oracle reported a 30% increase in revenue to $19.3 billion, driven by a 121% surge in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (IaaS) due to AI demand. Cognor Holding moved from a loss to a net profit of 5.7 million PLN, though cash flows remain under pressure. In the real estate sector, Develia reported record results with net profit rising 84% to 319.2 million PLN.
Conversely, some sectors face challenges. Gobarto reported a net loss of 22.7 million PLN, largely due to difficulties in the European pork market. Lubelski Węgiel Bogdanka saw a significant drop in net profit to 5 million PLN, down from 264.7 million PLN the previous year, attributed to lower domestic coal prices. Antalis reported a pre-tax loss of 7.7 million GBP amid market pressure.
Other notable updates include Allianz achieving record operating profits of 4.9 billion EUR in Q2, driven by asset management, and Komputronik improving profitability despite a slight revenue decrease. VIMN Poland, representing Paramount Global, saw a 26.6% decrease in net profit.
