Polish companies name new CEOs for waste management and rail vehicle firms

Przedsiębiorstwo Gospodarki Odpadami in Kielce appointed Piotr Kłosiński as its new president, succeeding Sebastian Fajdek who resigned in May. Kłosiński brings more than 30 years of experience in production and municipal services, having led LOTOS Serwis, served as deputy director for technology and investment at ORLEN Lietuva, and most recently managed the water and sewage company in Jarocin. He said his priorities will be stabilising operations, conducting a comprehensive audit, and optimising processes and costs while advancing circular‑economy goals.

H. Cegielski – Fabryki Pojazdów Szynowych (FPS) also announced a leadership change, naming Piotr Wasilewski as its new president after Jerzy Woliński stepped down in May. Wasilewski, previously a board member for technical affairs, highlighted the company's recent delivery of 50 combo wagons and 62 sets of 25AN4 wagons for PKP Intercity, and the ongoing production of 300 new wagons and 133 additional sets. The firm, celebrating its 105th anniversary, is currently fulfilling orders worth billions of zlotys. Wasilewski, a graduate of Poznań University of Technology, has extensive experience in railway engineering and management.
