Polish consumers report major frustrations with in-store shopping

A recent survey indicates that 92% of Polish consumers experience frustrations during in-store shopping. Contrary to expectations, high prices were not the primary grievance.

The most significant issue cited by 31% of respondents is poor space organization, specifically pallets and unpackaged goods left in aisles, which obstruct movement and shopping carts. Long queues at checkout counters were the second most common complaint, noted by 30% of participants. This frustration extends to self-service checkouts, which can still experience delays requiring staff intervention.

Additionally, 26% of those surveyed reported issues with pricing discrepancies, specifically when the price displayed on the shelf differs from the price charged at the register.
