Polish consumers resist AI control over personal finances

A study conducted by the Polish Association of Financial Enterprises (ZPF) and the Institute of Economic Development at the Warsaw School of Economics (IRG SGH) reveals significant hesitation among Polish consumers regarding the use of artificial intelligence in personal finance.

According to the findings, only 23.7% of respondents are willing to accept AI-generated recommendations for financial decisions. In contrast, 45.4% of those surveyed expressed opposition to such technology, while 30.9% remained undecided. While AI may be viewed as a tool for analyzing expenses or finding savings, the majority of consumers are unwilling to grant algorithms control over their personal wealth or major financial management tasks.
