Polish couples experience more conflicts on holiday trips

A couple, Agnieszka (43) and Radek, parents of three, spent a week at a spa resort in Lower Silesia hoping to revive intimacy during a child‑free vacation. Instead, they reported a loss of desire, increased tension and are now considering separation.

Psychologists explain that many Polish couples argue more frequently during summer holidays. Disrupted daily routines, heightened expectations, fatigue, constant joint decision‑making, financial pressures and differing preferences for activities can all amplify stress and lead to arguments.
