Polish courts issue conditional dismissals in separate legal cases

Two separate legal proceedings in Poland have resulted in conditional dismissals.

In the first case, the District Court in Piaseczno issued a conditional dismissal regarding musician Aleksander Milwiw-Baron following a road accident in Słomczyn in April. The court accepted the prosecution's motion, which follows the artist's admission of guilt. The decision involves a period of probation and a proposed fine of 5,000 PLN to the victim, a motorcyclist injured in the collision.

In a second case, former PiS MP Przemysław Czarnecki was found guilty of actions occurring during a New Year's Eve celebration in 2018/2019. The court granted a conditional dismissal with a three-year probation period, citing the minor social harm of the act. Czarnecki was ordered to pay 25,000 PLN in compensation to the victim, Krzysztof K., and 5,000 PLN in court costs. The ruling is not yet final.
