Polish cultural institutions celebrate major anniversaries

Several cultural institutions in Poland recently celebrated significant anniversaries. In Gniezno, the Gniezno Folk Dance Ensemble marked ten years of activity with a jubilee concert held at the First High School auditorium. The performance featured traditional dances from various Polish regions, including Szamotuły, Kraków, and Nowy Sącz, and included the debut of Sądeckie dances in new costumes. Since its founding in 2016, the ensemble has performed over 100 concerts, including international appearances in Italy and Portugal.

In Kutno, the Karol Kurpiński State Music School celebrated its 80th anniversary with a gala at the Kutno Cultural Center. Established in 1946 in the post-war era, the school honored its history through archival photography and musical performances. The event served as a gathering for generations of students and faculty to reflect on the institution's role in shaping local musical sensitivity and community ties.
