Polish newspaper sales fell sharply in the second quarter of 2026. The average circulation of the daily "Fakt" dropped 15.2% to 86,386 copies, while "Super Express" fell 13.7% to 48,864 copies. Overall, the average newspaper circulation fell 14.7% to 31,163 copies.

The sports newspaper "Przegląd Sportowy" bucked the trend, rising 8.7% to 18,171 copies, driven by heightened interest in the football World Cup. Digital subscriptions were not included in these figures; "Gazeta Wyborcza" leads the digital market with roughly 300,000 online subscribers.
