Polish 'Dancing with the Stars' sees cast changes as Dawid Swakowski quits, Dominik Smaruj joins

Podcaster Dawid “Żurnalista” Swakowski withdrew from Polsat's autumn edition of "Taniec z gwiazdami" due to health problems that would prevent the intensive training required for the show. He had been slated to appear after negotiations for a fee of 20‑25 thousand zł per episode. In his place, actor Dominik Smaruj was invited to take part.

The production also confirmed that actress Izabela Kuna will compete in the 19th edition, a move encouraged by former winner Vanessa Aleksander, who praised Kuna and highlighted their friendship. Both changes underscore Polsat's effort to refresh the lineup and attract a broader, younger audience.
