Polish decorative paint market shows recovery in Q2 2026

The Polish decorative paint market showed signs of recovery in the second quarter of 2026 following a weak start to the year. According to a SellFiK report commissioned by the Polish Association of Paint and Glue Manufacturers, sales value in Q2 increased by 5.6% year-on-year, and the decline in sales volume began to stabilize.

For the first half of 2026, total sales value rose by 1.1% compared to the previous year, though volume recovery remains incomplete. The DIY distribution channel drove this growth, recording a 3.4% increase in sales volume. In contrast, the traditional distribution channel remained weaker, particularly regarding volume.
