Polish defense companies are expanding their strategic capabilities through new agreements focused on artillery and aerial munitions.
WB Group has formalized cooperation with the Missile and Artillery Training Center in Toruń. This partnership aims to enhance training, expert analysis, and the development of artillery systems. The collaboration builds on long-standing relations and covers joint training ventures, demonstration projects, and the optimization of training processes and infrastructure. Key technologies involved in the broader artillery ecosystem include the Topaz fire control system, Gladius reconnaissance-strike systems, and FlyEye drones.
Separately, Niewiadów Polska Grupa Militarna S.A. has signed a strategic framework agreement with the Technical Institute of Aviation Forces. The goal is to develop technology for the production and assembly of Mk-82 aerial bomb bodies (250 kg) in accordance with NATO standards. The partnership involves research, certification, and the creation of technical documentation to increase Poland's technological autonomy and industrial capacity in the defense sector.
