Polish dioceses announce new liturgical training programs

Various Catholic dioceses in Poland have announced upcoming liturgical training programs for the 2025–2027 period.

In the Radzyń Podlaski region, the Diocesan Liturgical School is opening registrations for the 2026/2027 formation year. Directed by Bishop Kazimierz Gurda, the program aims to prepare men and women for roles as lectors and psalmists. The training will cover both theoretical knowledge and practical skills. Parish priests are requested to nominate candidates based on parish size, with requirements ranging from one to at least three candidates depending on the number of faithful. Meetings will be held at the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Radzyń Podlaski, with the first session scheduled for October 17.

Separately, the Archdiocese of Przemyśl has invited participants to its Master of Ceremonies School. This liturgical course is designed for altar servers, lectors (from 8th grade and older), and other community members wishing to serve in this capacity. The training will take place at Collegium Marianum in Przemyśl across multiple sessions between late 2025 and mid-2027. Candidates must be nominated by their parish priest or vicar.
