Polish discount retailers roll out summer sales with up to 80% off
Lidl launched a summer online sale, cutting prices on home goods, lighting and clothing by as much as 70 %, with items such as a LED table lamp now priced at 59.70 zł.
Biedronka introduced a one‑day special offering deep discounts on fresh produce and meat, including watermelons at 0.99 zł per kilogram (an 83 % cut) and chicken breast at 14.99 zł per kilogram. The chain also promoted electronics and car accessories, with selected devices discounted by more than 50 %.
Dino’s new weekly flyer, effective from 29 July, features promotions on food, seasonal items and cosmetics, with discounts reaching up to 80 % and multi‑buy offers such as “3 + 3 gratis”.
In Biedronka’s grocery range, Greek grill cheese from the Eridanous brand is on sale for 11.24 zł per 220 g pack, a 25 % reduction valid until 1 August. These coordinated promotions across the three major Polish discount chains aim to attract price‑sensitive shoppers during the summer season.
