Polish doubles teams stumble at Wimbledon 2026, one out and one advances via walkover

Polish pair Jan Zieliński and Taiwan's Su‑Wei Hsieh were eliminated in the first round of the mixed‑doubles draw at Wimbledon 2026, losing 3‑6, 6‑3, 6‑4 to Britain’s Marcus Willis and Heather Watson.

In men's doubles, Poland’s Piotr Pieczonka and Czech partner Vit Kopriva progressed to the second round without playing after the German duo of Yannick Hanfmann and Jan‑Lennard Struff withdrew. Struff pulled out to focus on his singles quarter‑final against Hubert Hurkacz. Pieczonka and Kopriva will now face the 13th‑seeded French team of Sadio Doumbia and Fabien Reboul.
