Polish drivers compete at Hockenheimring racing events
Polish racing drivers Karol Kręt and Wiktor Dobrzański delivered competitive performances during recent racing rounds at the Hockenheimring in Germany.
In the Porsche Carrera Cup Benelux, 21-year-old Karol Kręt showed strong pace but was unable to secure a podium due to a combination of a five-position grid penalty from a previous round, technical issues with the braking system, and on-track collisions. Despite these setbacks, Kręt recorded the fastest lap in the second race.
In the Euroformula Open series, 20-year-old Wiktor Dobrzański secured his third podium of the season in the general classification, narrowly missing a career-first victory by just 1.082 seconds. Dobrzański earned 26 points over the weekend, maintaining 7th place in the overall standings and strengthening his 2nd place position in the Rookie Cup.
