Polish education report highlights student concerns and regional achievements
A recent PISA 2025 report indicates that 63% of Polish fifteen-year-olds believe school does not adequately prepare them for adulthood, a figure significantly higher than the OECD average of 49%. The report also notes that only half of students report putting in extra effort when faced with difficult tasks.
In contrast to these systemic concerns, the Opole Voivodeship held its Regional Education Festival to honor excellence in the region. The event recognized outstanding teachers, school directors, and students through the ‘Prymus Opolszczyzny’ awards. These honors were distributed in two categories, knowledge and art, with 30 laureates recognized in each category for their academic and artistic achievements.
