Polish educators and community figures Jan Janczak and Zbigniew Mużelak pass away
Two prominent Polish educators and community figures have passed away.
Jan Janczak, a former director of the Agricultural School Complex in Pszczela Wola, died in early October 2026. Born in 1935, Janczak was a dedicated teacher and a significant figure in the Polish Beekeeping Association, serving as president of the local beekeeping circle and the provincial association. He was widely recognized for his contributions to beekeeping education in the Lubelskie region.
Zbigniew Mużelak, a long-time educator and musician from Racibórz, has also passed away. Mużelak served as the director of the primary school in Nędza from 1985 to 2002. Beyond his pedagogical career, he was a dedicated musician who played the viola in the Racibórz Symphony Orchestra for over 25 years and worked extensively with the ‘Strzecha’ Song and Dance Ensemble. His cultural contributions earned him several honors, including the Medal of the National Education Commission.
