Polish emergency services conduct crisis response exercises

Emergency services in Poland conducted various training exercises to test readiness and inter-agency coordination during crisis scenarios.

In Golub-Dobrzyń, police and firefighters simulated a response to a suspicious package containing an unknown white powder delivered to a local labor office. The exercise focused on securing the area and neutralizing the potential chemical threat to ensure public safety.

In Świętochłowice, the ‘Flyaway 2026’ exercises involved police, firefighters, medical rescuers, and railway security. The scenario simulated a drone crash that triggered a fire in difficult-to-access terrain near railway infrastructure, resulting in casualties. The training tested response times, information flow, and the ability to manage multiple simultaneous threats.
