Polish firms find employees willing to trade salary for better office experience

A recent ABM report covering over 500 full‑time office workers in the UK, US and Ireland – many employed by hybrid‑model companies – found that 87 % would give up part of their pay for a more appealing workplace, citing better facilities, parking and desk availability as essential. Experts from the Polish office‑space software firm Tidaro stress that a well‑designed office can boost culture and productivity.

Separate surveys of Polish professionals by Randstad and Hays Poland show a shift in corporate priorities toward financial results, business growth and AI adoption, while employee well‑being, retention and manager‑staff relations fall lower on the agenda. More than half (55 %) of respondents said they would prefer a less stressful job over a higher salary, highlighting growing pressure on workers and a mismatch between firm goals and staff expectations.
