Polish employees favor pet-friendly offices over traditional perks
A recent study by InterviewMe involving over 660 Polish respondents indicates a growing interest in pet-friendly office environments. Approximately 66% of those surveyed view the presence of animals in the workplace positively.
Participants noted several psychological and social benefits: 50% believe pets help reduce work-related stress, 45% report a positive impact on office atmosphere, and 26% suggest that pets aid in team integration.
Interestingly, the study found that some employees would trade traditional corporate perks for pet access. About 25% of respondents would forgo company parties or integration trips, and 24% would give up free snacks or 'fruit Thursdays' to bring a pet to work. Additionally, 14% would be willing to reduce remote work days if it meant bringing a pet to the office. However, most employees maintain strict boundaries regarding core compensation; only 15% would sacrifice hard benefits like private medical care or sports cards.
