Polish employers lag in offering vacation benefits, HRK study finds

A recent HRK survey of specialists and managers in Poland reveals that vacation‑related benefits are still uncommon. According to the study, 58 % of respondents say their employer provides no such benefits, while only 29 % confirm the availability of any vacation perk. Among the benefits that are offered, financial support for holidays is the most frequent, cited by 27 % of those surveyed, followed by travel vouchers (19 %) and holiday insurance (15 %).

The research also notes a decline in the popularity of "workation" arrangements. The share of employees planning to combine work with a temporary residence abroad fell from 19.3 % in 2025 to 15.6 % in 2026, and the proportion of firms offering workation dropped from 7.1 % to 4 %. Analysts suggest the trend reflects a growing desire among workers for clear separation between work time and personal rest.
