Polish entrepreneur Igor Klaja pushes for a Formula 1 grade‑1 circuit in Poland

Igor Klaja, founder and president of the sports and lifestyle company 4F, said he is ready to finance the construction of a Grade 1 Formula 1 circuit in Poland. He told WP SportoweFakty that a group of investors is prepared to provide the necessary funds and that he is in talks with the Polish Ministry of Sport to secure official support.

Klaja also highlighted his broader goal of improving road safety through the 4F Racing Academy, which trains Polish drivers in safe driving practices. He argues that a dedicated F1‑grade track would keep high‑speed motorsport on a proper circuit rather than public roads, and would raise Poland’s international profile, attracting investors and motorsport fans.

The proposal, while still at the discussion stage, reflects Klaja’s ambition to expand Poland’s motorsport infrastructure beyond the existing Poznań circuit.
