Polish Erasmus+ Students Gain International Internships in Croatia and Compete for EU Parliament Trip

Five students from the Academy of Medical and Social Sciences took part in Erasmus+ overseas internships in Zagreb, Croatia, through a partnership with the Croatian Catholic University. The group included three medical rescue students who trained in health facilities and two nursing students who developed practical nursing skills under Croatian specialists. The experience also offered language and cultural immersion, reinforcing the long‑standing academic cooperation between the two institutions.

Separately, a nationwide competition called “Your Experience Story – YES! Erasmus+” invites Polish students and doctoral candidates who have studied abroad under Erasmus+ to submit photo or video works. Submissions are accepted until 31 August 2026, and winners will receive a four‑day study visit to the European Parliament in Brussels and Strasbourg, with transport, accommodation and meals covered. The contest is organized by the University of Warsaw’s Center for Cooperation and Dialogue and funded by the Polish Ministry of Science and Higher Education.
