Polish Eurovision Jury Awards Israel Maximum Points, Sparking Controversy

In the Eurovision Song Contest 2026 final, the Polish professional jury gave Israel the highest possible score of 12 points, making Poland the only country to do so. The decision triggered public outrage and intense media scrutiny. Juror voting sheets, obtained through a public‑information request by legal researcher Ola Szkodzińska and posted on LinkedIn, revealed the individual rankings: Staś Kukulski placed Israel first, Jasiek Piwowarczyk and Wiktoria Kida ranked it second, Eliza Orzechowska third, Filip Kuncewicz fifth, Maurycy Żółtański seventh, while Viki Gabor gave it the lowest rank (24th). Jury members largely declined to comment, and Viki Gabor publicly distanced herself from the outcome, stating her personal ranking placed Israel at the bottom. The release of the cards has intensified calls for transparency in the Eurovision voting process.
