Polish experts on child emotions and conversation interrupting

Psychologists advise that children who act out, such as loudly refusing to follow instructions or displaying “pirate‑like” behavior, are often seeking attention, safety, or understanding. They recommend responding with patience and empathy, asking the child what they need and offering reassurance rather than immediate punishment.

Separately, experts explain that chronic interrupting in conversations can stem from a desire for control, fear of being ignored, impulsivity, or conditions such as ADHD. The behavior may develop from childhood when individuals learn to speak louder to be heard. Counselors suggest addressing the underlying anxiety and improving listening skills to reduce conflict.
