The Polish government will refund the excise tax embedded in diesel fuel used for agricultural production for the 2026 season. The refund rate is 1.48 zł per litre, with limits of 110 l per hectare of arable land, 40 l per large livestock unit (cattle, sheep, goats, horses) and 4 l per pig. Applications for the second filing period must be submitted between 3 August and 31 August 2026, and refunds will be paid between 1 and 31 October 2026.

Applicants must attach VAT invoices that include a QR code and the unique KSeF number; transaction‑only confirmations without a full invoice are not accepted. Multiple municipalities – including Gmina Jakubów, Gmina Ręczno, Gmina Wola Krzysztoporska, Gmina Cedyna, Gmina Krzczonów, Czaplink and Gmina Wielkie Oczy – have published local instructions, office locations and required documentation such as the ARiMR‑issued livestock unit statements and, where relevant, lease agreements.
