Gdynia Film Festival: Julia Rogowska wins ‘Złoty Klakier’

At the 51st Polish Film Festival in Gdynia, director Julia Rogowska received the ‘Złoty Klakier’ award from Radio Gdańsk for her feature film debut, ‘Czas, który nie nadszedł’ (The Time That Has Not Come). The film earned the distinction after receiving over eight minutes of continuous applause from the festival audience.

Set in an alternative world where aging is a taboo and rejuvenation treatments are standard, the film follows a character named Sara, played by Agata Kulesza, who rebels against societal norms by embracing the natural aging process. Kulesza discussed the film's themes of confronting reality versus the artificial perfection presented by modern technology and applications.
