Polish film festivals and cinema schedules announced for September

The fifth edition of the ‘Natura Kina’ film festival is scheduled to take place in Pińczów from September 11 to 13. Organized by the Pińczów Local Government Cultural Center in cooperation with the National Center for Culture, the event features film screenings, meetings with creators, and various accompanying activities.

The festival program includes a meeting with renowned director Krzysztof Zanussi at the Municipal and Communal Public Library on September 11. The event is dedicated to director Andrzej Barański, an honorary citizen of Pińczów. On September 13, the festival will host a meeting with Barański and screenings of his films, ‘Nad rzeką, której nie ma’ and ‘Dzień wielkiej ryby’. Notable guests expected include actors Jan Peszek and Joanna Trzepiecińska.

In Połaniec, Kino Pegaz has announced its September repertoire, which includes a mix of adult evening screenings and family-oriented films. The schedule features titles such as ‘Bogaci i martwi’, ‘Vivaldi i ja’, and ‘Dzień dziecka księdza Jana Kaczkowskiego’. The cinema will also host special screenings for ‘Boy's Day’ toward the end of the month, including ‘Folwark zwierzęcy’, ‘Marsupilami’, and ‘Nie patrz w dół 2’.
