Polish fire brigades receive equipment aid and join international cooperation in France

The volunteer fire unit in Witnica, Poland, received a complete set of hydraulic rescue tools from the West Pomeranian State Fire Service following a July 6 depot fire that destroyed much of its equipment. The transfer, coordinated through the Gryfin County Fire Service, aims to restore the brigade’s technical rescue capability for road accidents and other local emergencies.

Separately, a delegation of firefighters and the municipal secretary from Gizałki, Poland, spent four days in Anor, France, meeting with counterparts from the Czech town of Příbram and the Belgian municipality of Momignies. The visit focused on exchanging best practices, discussing rescue system organization, and showcasing new firefighting technologies, strengthening long‑term ties among the participating fire services.
