Polish fire brigades run rescue training drills in July 2026

On July 22, 2026, firefighters from the State Fire Service in Słupca and volunteer units from the Orchowo municipality carried out chemical‑ecological rescue exercises at the SNEBO Onions Orchowo plant. The drills aimed to unify knowledge, improve cooperation and test procedures for chemical incidents.

Between July 14‑16, 2026, the Rapid Intervention Team (RIT) of the State Fire Service unit in Piła conducted a three‑day program to sharpen skills in rescuing team members from hazardous zones. Scenarios included window evacuations, confined‑space rescues and narrow‑passage extractions using rope techniques.

On July 21‑22, 2026, a water‑rescue seminar organized by the Lublin Police and the State Fire Service brought together emergency‑service representatives for theoretical sessions and practical workshops on Zemborzycki Reservoir. Participants practiced boat and scooter operations, victim extraction and CPR, with regional officials attending. All three events sought to boost readiness, inter‑agency coordination and public safety.
