Polish firms navigate eMAG Marketplace compliance as government launches eLicytacje KAS auction portal

Polish companies expanding into Central and Eastern European markets use the eMAG Marketplace, the largest e‑commerce platform in Romania that also operates in Hungary and Bulgaria. Sellers must comply with extended producer responsibility (EPR) and BDO registration, protect intellectual‑property rights, and maintain high seller‑rating metrics to avoid account blocks and payment suspensions.

The Polish Ministry of Finance has opened the eLicytacje KAS portal, consolidating all public‑sector auction announcements from tax offices nationwide. Launched on 1 July 2026, the site enables online bidding on seized movable and immovable assets, offers cash‑less payment of deposits and purchases, and aims to increase transparency and accessibility for buyers across Poland.
