Polish football initiatives support women's development
The Polish Football Association (PZPN) has launched a new edition of its ‘Kobiety w grze’ (Women in the Game) grant program. For the 2026/2027 season, the association has allocated 600,000 PLN to support the development and popularization of women's football at local and regional levels.
Grants ranging from 7,000 to 16,000 PLN are available to women's clubs in the third, fourth, and fifth leagues, as well as youth sections and women's sections within men's clubs. Funds can be used for school collaborations, coach training, creating new training groups, and organizing promotional activities.
In a related regional development effort, the Mazovian Football Association announced the selection of 24 players for the Mazovia Women's U13 training consultation. The session, led by coach Tomasz Świerczewski, is scheduled for September 15, 2026, in Warsaw, serving as a key step in the regional talent development process.
