Polish football talents Bartosz Mazurek and Bartłomiej Barański make headlines

Polish football is seeing the rise of young talents making significant moves abroad and within domestic leagues.

Bartosz Mazurek, a 19-year-old midfielder formerly of Jagiellonia Białystok, has successfully transitioned to Red Bull Salzburg following a six-million-euro transfer. After impressing in the PKO Ekstraklasa and scoring a hat-trick in a Conference League match against Fiorentina, Mazurek has become a key player for Salzburg under coach Danny Röhl, contributing goals and assists in his early appearances.

Meanwhile, 19-year-old offensive midfielder Bartłomiej Barański has reflected on his move to Lech Poznań. Despite limited playing time in the first team and subsequent loan spells at GKS Tychy and Odra Opole, Barański stated he does not regret the decision, noting that the experience has provided insight into higher-level football.
