Polish Girls' Football Tournaments Boost Youth Participation

On June 8, 2026, the Regional Youth School Football Games for girls were held in Sadkowice, Poland. The team from the School of Primary Education in Bielawy finished third, with standout striker Joanna Obórka scoring nine goals. The tournament featured five regional teams and highlighted strong performances from local school squads.

A separate Girls' Football Festival took place on June 12, 2026, at the Municipal Stadium in Bielsko‑Biała, organized by the Polish Football Association. The free event targeted primary‑school girls (grades 1‑3) from the Silesian region, offering sports activities, competitions, and a chance to view the FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup trophy. The festival also included a friendly match between the Poland and Mexico U20 women’s national teams on June 9, with open admission.
