Polish gminas allocate 2027 village funds to local communities
In the 2027 budget, the village fund (fundusz sołecki) for Gmina Piaski will total 676 431.57 zł, a 12.25% increase over the previous year. The largest share, 72 742.40 zł, is earmarked for the Piaski village itself, with other villages such as Bodzewo (61 321.84 zł) and Szelejewo Drugie (54 338.57 zł) also receiving substantial amounts. Gmina Piaski wójt Dariusz Naskręt described the fund as “a useful tool that gives residents direct control over local investments.”
Gmina Pakosław’s village fund for 2027 totals 521 181.81 zł for its 4 872 residents. The biggest allocations, close to 70 000 zł each, will go to the Pakosław and Chojno villages. Wójt Piotr Skrzypek said residents will soon decide how the money is spent on greenery, equipment, and events at upcoming meetings.
