Polish goalkeeper Jakub Zieliński receives Manuel Neuer's shirt after 0-4 loss to Bayern

Eighteen‑year‑old Jakub Zieliński, regarded as one of Poland's top goalkeeper prospects, moved from Legia Warsaw's academy to VfL Wolfsburg in the Bundesliga. After Wolfsburg's 0‑4 defeat to Bayern Munich, he went to the dressing room looking for his own shirt but instead asked veteran German keeper Manuel Neuer for a souvenir. Neuer handed over his shirt, saying he was surprised that Zieliński did not know who he was. Zieliński described the shirt as "one of my most valuable souvenirs" and said the exchange was a highlight of his early career. The incident was recounted in interviews with TVP Sport and sportowefakty.
