Polish government allocates 16 million zł to restore Silesian uprising monument
Vice‑premier and defence minister Władysław Kosiniak‑Kamysz visited Góra Świętej Anny on the National Silesian Uprisings Day, laid wreaths at the Monument to the Uprising Action and announced a 16 million‑zloty investment to renovate the monument and its surrounding area, including the nearby rock amphitheatre. The funding aims to modernise the site, preserve its historical significance from the 1919‑1921 Silesian uprisings, and enable broader cultural use for upcoming events.
