Prime Minister Donald Tusk announced on 29 July 2026 that Professor Barbara Mróz‑Gorgoń, a professor at the University of Economics in Wrocław and president of the Marka Polska Think Tank, has been appointed Government Plenipotentiary for the promotion of the “Poland Brand”. The new office will merge fragmented promotional activities across ministries into a single programme, develop a national branding strategy and a “Brand Book” of communication and visual standards, and coordinate efforts without requiring additional budget.

The government’s objectives are to raise Poland’s attractiveness for tourism, encourage foreign investors to collaborate with Polish firms (“local content”), and strengthen the country’s image abroad, positioning the brand as a driver of economic growth and international influence.
