Guidance for the upkeep of permanent green areas (TUZ) in Poland outlines when simple overseeding is sufficient and when full renovation—complete removal of the old sward followed by reseeding—is required. The criteria include the proportion of valuable grasses and legumes, weed density, and soil conditions, with recommendations for fertiliser doses of 200‑300 kg NPK ha⁻¹ where appropriate.

A separate advisory details a low‑cost method to curb slug infestations in gardens: placing a shallow jar of milk in the soil attracts slugs overnight, trapping them inside. The advice also recommends copper tape barriers around beds and the planting of slug‑repellent species such as lavender as preventive measures.
