Polish health resorts expand infrastructure to meet rising demand

Polish health resorts Latoszyn-Zdrój and Busko-Zdrój are undergoing significant infrastructure expansions to accommodate growing numbers of visitors.

In Latoszyn-Zdrój, a tender has been launched for the construction of a new sanatorium costing approximately 30 million PLN. The facility will include 40 rooms for over 70 patients, providing medical, health, and accommodation services. Local authorities report a massive surge in visitors, growing from 18,000 in 2023 to over 120,000 by September this year. The project is expected to be completed by the end of 2028.

Meanwhile, Busko-Zdrój is investing nearly 9 million PLN to expand the Dom Zdrojowy facility near the Spa Park. The expansion adds approximately 600 square meters, including a new mineral water tasting room, a stage with technical facilities, and an integration space with a cafe. This project aims to provide year-round social and cultural spaces for visitors and is scheduled for completion by April 27, 2027.
