Polish heritage and health organizations mark significant anniversaries
In Poland, two distinct organizations are celebrating major milestones. The Kościuszko Mound Committee members were honored during the 21st Jubilee General Meeting of the Association of Monument Conservators in Krakow. The event, which coincided with the 45th anniversary of the Association, recognized individuals for their contributions to protecting Polish cultural heritage. Notable recipients included Adam Kozień, who received a silver badge from the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage, and Prof. Piotr Dobosz and Prof. Czesław Dźwigaj, who were awarded gold badges for their conservation efforts.
Separately, a health association celebrated its 20th anniversary by highlighting two decades of work in celiac disease education and support. Key achievements include the development of the ‘Przekreślony Kłos’ certification, now used on approximately 2,000 Polish products, and the ‘MENU BEZ GLUTENU’ program, which audits and trains restaurants and hotels in gluten-free safety. The association also noted its role in providing dietary counseling and facilitating gluten-free religious practices through partnerships with the Catholic Church.
