Polish High School Field Trip to Kazimierz Dolny

On 24 June, students from the bilingual Mickiewicz High School (classes 1d and 1a) embarked on an integration trip to the historic town of Kazimierz Dolny in eastern Poland.

The itinerary included walks through limestone ravines, a visit to the Old Market Square and its famous rooster‑shaped cake, the Church of St John the Baptist and St Bartholomew, a brief stop at the former synagogue, and a climb to the Three Crosses Hill for panoramic views of the Vistula valley. The guide recounted the legend of the town’s dog statue, and the weather remained fine throughout.
