Polish home dessert recipes gain attention

Chef Ewa Wachowicz shared a straightforward caramel ice‑cream recipe that combines cooked condensed milk (kajmak), mascarpone, cream and toasted peanuts, promising a store‑bought quality that can be made without an ice‑cream machine. The method emphasizes proper cooling of the kajmak and gentle mixing to achieve a smooth, creamy texture.

Another Polish recipe details a layered poppy cake with lemon‑flavored cream and a light mascarpone‑based frosting. The cake uses ground poppy seeds, butter, milk and a whipped cream topping, with a lemon custard set with gelatin to add freshness. Both dishes are presented as easy to prepare at home and suitable for family gatherings or holiday treats.
