Polish homeowners tackle freestanding bathtub woes with cheap storage and shower swaps

Freestanding bathtubs have become a popular interior trend in Poland, but owners often struggle with a lack of storage for toiletries. Dutch retailer Action offers a bamboo three‑shelf rack priced at about 60 zł, designed to fit beside the tub and hold cosmetics, towels and other items.

In a separate case, a homeowner named Tomasz replaced his large bathtub with a shower cabin. The change reduced weekly water use by roughly 1,200 liters and cut water and electricity bills by several hundred zł annually, demonstrating practical savings from opting for a shower over a tub.
