Polish industries launch vocational training partnerships
Major industrial companies in Poland are launching educational partnerships to address labor shortages in technical sectors.
In Przasnysz, ABB has entered a five-year agreement with the Zespół Szkół Powiatowych to establish a new electrical technician program. The initiative, which began with 32 students in September 2026, includes curriculum consultation, professional internships, and factory visits. The partnership also aims to prepare examination stations that meet official regulatory requirements to help bridge the gap between industrial technological advancements and workforce qualifications.
In Kraków, Budimex SA has launched a patron class for 31 students studying to become automation technicians at the Zespół Szkół Elektrycznych nr 1. The collaboration involves renovating classrooms, providing specialized equipment such as power automation safety cabinets, and offering workshops led by industry experts. The program is designed to provide students with practical experience in infrastructure and energy projects through site visits and direct contact with professionals.
