Polish influencer Andziaks is facing significant public criticism following comments regarding her tax obligations. She expressed a preference for settling taxes abroad due to high domestic rates and her limited use of public services in Poland. In response, Finance Minister Andrzej Domański characterized her remarks as ‘very selfish,’ emphasizing that taxes are essential for building a strong nation and funding infrastructure, education, and healthcare.

The controversy has been compounded by the financial disclosures of her company, Twinkle Candle. Reports indicate that while the firm generated nearly 2.85 million PLN in gross profit in 2025, it paid only 26,000 PLN in taxes, a discrepancy likely attributed to the ‘Estonian CIT’ tax model.

Andziaks has since issued a video apology, describing her previous statements as a result of ignorance. She is also navigating a personal crisis following reports that her stepfather is wanted by authorities in connection with suspected fraud, an issue she noted is more difficult for her to process than the tax controversy.
