Polish investment funds target expansion and portfolio restructuring

Investment funds in Poland are focusing on strategic capital allocation and portfolio restructuring. Vinci reports that its investment fund, backed by a 1.1 billion PLN mandate from BGK, has already deployed approximately 600 million PLN. The fund aims to reach an allocation level of 800-900 million PLN by the end of the year, targeting technologies that build economic autonomy and competitive advantages.

MCI Capital is also adjusting its portfolio. CEO Paweł Borys indicated that the fund is considering an exit from the online retailer Morele.net, potentially through an IPO on the Warsaw Stock Exchange or by finding a private investor. MCI Capital plans to execute three new investments over the next 1.5 years, supported by a strong cash position and recent divestments that yielded approximately 900 million PLN.
