Polish journalist Krzysztof Stanowski loses driver's license for speeding

Polish journalist Krzysztof Stanowski, founder of Kanał Zero, has had his driver's license suspended for three months following a speeding violation in Odrowąż. Police radar recorded him traveling at 110 km/h in a 50 km/h zone, approximately ten meters before the edge of the built-up area.

Stanowski received a fine of 3,000 PLN (approximately 696 EUR) and 13 penalty points. The incident highlights the strictness of Polish traffic enforcement, where exceeding the limit by more than 50 km/h results in a three-month license suspension. New regulations set to take effect in March 2026 will further expand these sanctions beyond built-up areas.
