Polish journalist Rafał Ziemkiewicz placed on Ukrainian ‘death list’ by Myrotworeć

Rafał Ziemkiewicz, a well‑known Polish journalist and publicist who describes himself as a “political influencer,” has been added to the “list of death” compiled by the Ukrainian centre Myrotworeć. The list, which the organisation labels as a register of Ukraine’s enemies, accuses Ziemkiewicz of running a campaign against Polish‑Ukrainian cooperation and of exploiting the Volyn massacre issue to pressure public opinion.

Myrotworeć is not an official state body, but its records are reportedly used by Ukrainian security services, and inclusion on the list can lead to denial of entry to Ukraine. Other Poles named on the register include Zbigniew Bogucki, head of the Polish President’s Chancellery, New Hope leader Sławomir Mentzen and Confederation MEP Ewa Zajączkowska‑Hernik. Ziemkiewicz responded on social media with sarcasm, mocking Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski and defending his right to comment.
